Information about the following limitations and circumstances regarding this years fishing season

Several of our foreign fishermen were prevented from traveling to Norway / Lakselva in 2020. These fishermen were given the opportunity of transferring their fishing licenses to the corresponding dates in 2021. Due to this a proportion of our fishing licenses will be pre-booked when the sale opens.

In order to adapt management of anadromous salmonids according to today’s situation (population status and known impact factors) the Norwegian Environment Agency has started a national revision of regulations on fishing for anadromous salmonids in rivers and in the fjords. As a part of this revision, there is now an ongoing process of evaluating the timing of the fishing season in Lakselva. Fishing licenses for the periods June 1st to 14th and September 1st to 15th  will therefor not be put up for sale until placement of the fishing season is finalized.

Due to the ongoing situation associated with Coronavirus, Lakselv landowners association would like to encourage those who wish to buy fishing licenses at this moment, to do a personal risk assessment based on their own situation. This includes age,  health, country of residence and the potential for travel restrictions being enforced. Corona infection, risk of infection or other Corona related problems (closed borders, canceled flights, etc.) will not provide a basis for refunds or changes of fishing licenses.Terms of purchase.

Fishermen who are new to Lakselva are recommended to familiarize themselves with the Elveguiden-pages and register a user account before the card sale opens (only registered users will be able to book fishing licenses).
