Zone 3 stretches from Klemetstad and all the way up to Nedrevann. A favorite among many, it's easy to see why.

Many of the places in zone 3, requires some walking, but with the E6 running on the east side of the river, the walks are not that long. Towards the top of zone 3, the road moves loser and closer, and it's just a stones throw down to the river. To fish zone 3 from the west bank, you either take your car to Klemetstad and walk upstream, or you cross the river by using the suspension bridge by Pikkulompola. 

Since zone 3 is slightly less accessible, and is outside of the more "urban" areas, you get a closer feel for nature up here. Zone 3 has more prominent rapids, shorter pools and more vegetation, and differs from zones 1 and 2. Fishing zone 3 may offer some more challenge, but there's definitely fish present, and pools such as Väliniva, Kairanen, Kovakoski and Suanto are definitely worth a visit. Zone 3 is approximately six kilometres long from start to finish.
