Puuraniemensuanto is a small, yet exciting pool by Gjøkenes in zone 2. The rvier makes a rather quick bend her, forming a deep and turbulent pool. Especially during lower water towards the latter half of the season, this pool is attractive. From the west bank, the pool is divided, as it goes into a private beat. To fish through the pool, it's therefore adviced to fish it from the east bank. Both going into the pool, the pool itself, and the tail of the pool is well worth trying.

You'll spot salmon in all sizes here, and fishing further downstream, you'll end up in Pahanmukka.
