Tiensuu

Tiensuu is one of the gems in the jewelery box that is Lakselva. Upstream of Tiensuu, you will find a very characteristic bank with clay and sand that leads to a colouration of the water from here and down.

Upstream of Tiensuu, you will find a very characteristic bank with clay and sand that leads to a colouration of the water from here and down.  If you do have a colouration, it's always advisable to add some extra colour to your flies.

Tiensuu means "at roads end" and refers to the time where horse and carriage where the means of transportation in the valley, Lakselva being the obstacle.

Tiensuu and Tiensuukuoppa is beast and easiest fished from the east bank, but could also be fished from the west bank. Fishing the west bank, you'll be fishing of a man made bank, which could be a little tricky to walk on, especially if you need to follow fish downstream.
