Ekstraordinære tiltak i Glomma og Aagaardselva gjelder fra og med 22/6-22.

Vedtatte tiltak gjelder fra og med 22/6-2022. Kvoten i Glomma og Aagaardselva settes til 2 hannlaks opp til 70 cm gjelder begge elver samlet.  (Eks 1 fisk avlivet i Glomma og 1 fisk avlivet i Aagaardselva da er kvoten nådd). All hunnfisk er fredet i begge elver resten av sesongen. All vill fisk med fettfinne er fredet i Glomma hele sesongen. Når kvoten er nådd avsluttes fisket i begge elver for sesongen 2022.

Det kan i august måned komme ytterligere tiltak om det også blir svikt i smålakseinsiget.

Grunnlag for vedtaket.

Grunnet svikt i innsiget fra havet av mellomlaks og storlaks til Glomma og Aagaardselva har det daglige styret, og arbeidsutvalg i samråd med Fiskeforvalter, besluttet å innføre begrensninger i uttak av laks i begge elver. Dette for å sikre laksebestandene så det ikke blir overbeskatning og at vi klarer å nå gytebestandsmålet i Glomma og Aagaardselva.

Vi har pr i dag den 22/6-22 10 stk mellomlaks og storlaks i begge elver til sammen, 1 i Glomma og 9 i Aagaardselva, dette er en katastrofe.

Vi får håpe at det kan komme noe smålaks, det er fortsatt for tidlig å konkludere enda.

Extraordinary measures in Glomma and Aagaardselva after mid-season evaluation apply from 22/6-22.

Approved measures apply from 22 / 6-2022. The quota in Glomma and Aagaardselva is set at 2 male salmon up to 70 cm and applies to both rivers together. (Ex. 1 fish killed in Glomma and 1 fish killed in Aagaardselva when the quota is reached). All female fish are protected in both rivers for the rest of the season. All wild fish with adipose fin are protected in Glomma throughout the season. When the quota is reached, fishing in both rivers will end for the 2022 season.
In August, further measures may be taken if there is also a failure in the entry of small salmon.

Basis for the decision.

Due to a failure in the entry from the sea of intermediate and large salmon to Glomma and Aagaardselva, the daily board with the working committee, in consultation with Fiskeforvalter, has decided to introduce restrictions on the catch of salmon in both rivers. This is to secure the salmon stocks so that there is no overfishing and that we are able to reach the spawning stock target in Glomma and Aagaardselva.

As of today, 22 / 6-22, we have 10 intermediate and larg salmon in both rivers in total, 1 in Glomma and 9 in Aagaardselva.

We have to put our trust in the fact that there may be some small salmon, it is still a bit early to conclude yet.
